Along with our group, we are collaborating with the Human Rights Club from the Gulf University of Science and Technology as well as with Trash Hero Kuwait in order to create these meaningful events.
Human Right's Club
The Human Rights Club aims to raise awareness about current human rights issues, and promote a deeper understanding of dignity and equality.
Trash Hero Kuwait
Trash Hero Kuwait is a non-profit organization that was founded on 2/20/2020. They clean public beaches and chalet areas every week on Saturday evenings. If people want to volunteer, all they need to do is show up, there are no fees or sign-ups. Moreover, they provide all the tools that are needed. Alongside cleaning the beaches, they work with local schools to provide educational opportunities for students to join them. Additionally, they have a bottle refill program to reduce waste which helps save thousands of used plastic bottles from being thrown away.
